Woah....hold up. "Special" is certainly a word you could use to describe this stunning Custom Shop '60 Reissue. The perfect shade of TV Yellow and a Bigsby to boot? yes please! Let's get down to the details.
Both the body and the neck are made from Mahogany. The neck has a comfy D profile, with a thickness of 0.830 at the first fret and 0.930 at the twelfth. It has a 12" radius and nut width of 1.705". Altogether weighing in at 7.84 lbs.
This Doublecut queen is rocking two Lollar '50s Wind P-90 Soapbar pickups, rated at 6.78k (neck) and 7.33k (bridge), for a brilliant, percussive tone with plenty of cut. Basically, it's a believable 50s/60s tonal recall. It sports your classic two volume, two tone, 3-way switch configuration. No funny business.
Perhaps the most shining and noticeable detail would be the Bigsby vibrato system. Surf's up, dawg.
To top it all off, this beauty comes with the original hardshell case and has received a fresh fret level and setup by one of our badass luthiers here at EMS. It ships super safe ready for stage or studio! Give us a call here at the shop with any questions you have about this stunner.
