The Maestro M-2RVT is a rare, and sorely overlooked, vintage amp that brings some big tone via the 15" speaker. With a pair of 6V6 power tubes, it has a tone and mojo that approaches that of a tweed deluxe.
Across the top loaded panel you get controls for Tone and Volume for each channel along with a control for the lush onboard reverb. Finally a stacked pot lets you control frequency and depth for that beautiful pulsing tremolo.
Christened with serial number 211183, this amp hails from 1962. In its long career it has received an electrolytic cap job and the original input jacks have been replaced.
The speaker is a 15" Eminence (possibly from the 90s) that has highs that cut through without being shrill along with a healthy lowend.
Overall this amp shows love and use that is consistent with its age. It has been used and enjoyed but not abused. We're particularly stoked that it retains the original footswitch and even the owner's manual!
