It's like a humbucker, but cuter! Nah seriously, these things sound killer.
The Gibson mini-humbucker, only fitted to the Les Paul Deluxe is somewhat smaller than the standard PAF humbucker used in the Les Paul Standard and Custom. It has its roots in the Epiphone mini humbuckers of the early 1960s, and the Firebird series of the mid-60s. Tonally, thinner and brighter than other Gibson humbuckers, perhaps somewhere between single coil pickups and the standard PAF humbucker.
This particular pair came out of a Les Paul Deluxe from 1978, and they sound fantastic. The one with the longer lead has an output rating of 6.27k, and the shorter lead has a comparable output rating of 6.20k.
This vintage pair of minibuckers are lightly used, and we'll ship them to you super fast and super safe with their included cream pickup rings! Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have about them!
