There were some really sick guitars coming out of Japan during the lawsuit era, and Grecos were at the top of the pack. These were and still are an affordable option for players to get that LP Custom vibe without paying Gibson prices.

Don't let the "lawsuit" stigma fool you, this Greco can hold its own among even some of the nicest Gibsons we've seen here at the shop. First let's talk about that finish! The maple sunburst top looks absolutely gorgeous on that mahogany body. The mahogany C-profile neck has a thickness of 0.830" at the 1st fret and 0.960" at the 12th fret, and has a rosewood fretboard with a 7.25" - 9.5" compound radius and a nut width of 1 11/16".

This bad boy is loaded up with a pair of Screamin 1982 humbuckers, rated at 7.25k in the neck and 7.72k in the bridge. And the folks at Greco did not forget to recreate the unforgettable heft of an authentic Les Paul Custom! This bad boy weighs in at a whopping 10.7lbs. Sustain for DAYS.

This guitar has obviously been used and played in its near 40 years of service, but it is in excellent condition considering its age. There's some minor surface swirling, a few small nicks and dings here and there, and the pickup rings show some cracks. Normal wear and tear that you would expect to see even on a guitar less than half its age.

Our master luthiers here at EMS have given this guy a fresh fret level and setup to ensure that it plays better than it ever has. It doesn't include a case, but we'll ship it to ya super fast and pack it super safe!

Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have about it!
