If you’ve never laid your hands on a Jerry Jones, get ready! Built in the likeness of 50’s/60’s Danelectros, but with 10x the care and quality, Jerry Jones Guitars (right here in Nashville) produced some of the most favored and enduring boutique instruments.

In the 50s and 60s the six string bass was used in Nashville recordings to double the acoustic bass lines. This technique, referred to as tic-tac bass, produced bass lines with a distinctive click and presence that was so prevalent in sound recordings of that era. These instruments have since found their way into all styles of modern music. Normally played with a thin pick and tuned E~to~E one octave below standard guitar. A great addition to any bass or guitar player's arsenal.

This double pickup Neptune sports a comfy and very playable “C” neck that’s crafted from masonite and maple (.742”-.838”). It’s overlaid with a 16” radius rosewood fingerboard (1 11/16” nut width).

The classic snappy, jangly goodness comes courtesy of the three lipstick tube pickups (N: 3.44k, B: 3.44k…yep they all measured the same resistance!). They’re controlled via a single Volume, single Tone and a 5-way pickup selector.

This guitar has all the tone and mojo of those early Dano’s but with built with boutique level quality. The serial number is engraved on the output jack plate (dating this one to the mid to late 90's). Serial No. 3846.

The pro luthiers here at EMS have given this guitar a full setup to ensure that it arrives to you with  level frets and zero issues, ready for stage or studio. It will be securely packed in its included hardshell case and safely shipped out the next day.
