What do you get when you take one of the best boutique, vintage correct guitars on the market and put it in the capable hands of our top shelf EMS luthiers?
Let's find out...
The Nash T-63's tone, playability, and convincing relic vibe is unmistakable. It brings to modern players all of the features that made the original early 60s guitars some of the most recorded sounds ever. This double bound beauty from Bill Nash features a very cool medium reliced black finish. Crafted from an alder body it has a C profile neck (.845"-1.005") that's fast and comfortable to play. It's topped with a beautiful rosewood fretboard (10" radius). The back of the neck has been sanded and oiled for a smooth feel when you're shredding your licks.
Now that's where the basic specs end. Now for the fun stuff! This guitar began its life as an already-amazing nod to the 60s Teles but it's been given a nearly $600 makeover via the customizations done right here at EMS. Our techs have turned this into a remarkable tone machine whose playability is untouchable.
Let's start with pickups: the neck position has been expertly routed and loaded with a Lollartron (4.67k) which has the clarity and punch players expect from a classic Filter’Tron. And of course the bridge is a Custom Nash single coil by Lollar (8.51k).
We further upgraded this bad boy by doing a custom route to accommodate a Mastery bridge and tremolo system. Mastery's bridges and trems allow for the absolute smoothest tremolo and the saddles give you incredibly stable and accurate intonation.
Top all this with a couple of fat custom knobs and you have a Tele unlike any other and which no other standard T-style can touch. And it weighs in at just 7.08 lbs. Perfection.
Everything about this guitar feels like butter. Our techs have gone through and given it a full setup so that it's ready for stage or studio the moment it's in your hands. Grab this modern-classic-on-steroids and we'll ship it out to you swiftly and safely the next day in its Nash gatorskin hardshell case.
