The Nu-Fuzz holds a special place in pedal history for being the true successor of the legendary Fuzzrite. Designed by Ed Sanner and originally intended for Mosrite as an updated version of their now famous fuzz, this pedal made its debut in 1969 under the (originally named) Sierra Electronics Co banner.
Controls are straight forward: "volume" and "tone" on one side, a battery on/off toggle on the other side, a separate footswitch to activate the fuzz or wah modes independently and of course a wah paddle for rocking to your hearts content.Â
