The Sixties were a time of great musical innovation, some cool players, and some interesting gear. Guitar builders were gettin' out there. Gettin' weird. Such as the creators of this Saturn violin guitar. Made just one year, 1968, and then it faded into history.

This rare bird has been resurrected in modern times by players looking for vintage stuff that has a throwback and unique tone. This sweet guitar is crafted from mahogany with a slim, playable mahogany neck to match (.819"-.851"). The 16" radius rosewood fingerboard sports a nut that measures in at 1.66".

It's loaded up with the original stock single coils (N: 2.81k, B:2.82k) that still sound chimey and jangly, and cut through and bite when you run it through some dirt. The controls layout is dead simple: single Volume, single Tone, 3-way pickup selector. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

The pro techs here at EMS have gone through this viola-style baby and given it a full setup and some fret work to insure that it arrives to you ready for stage or studio. They've got it clean, tight, and sounding right.

It will ship with the included hardshell case the next day!
