The AD412 speaker cabinet was originally designed to match up with the Vox Valvetronix heads of the early 2000's. Constructed of baltic birch plywood right in here the USA, this cab offers four speaker input jacks, allowing stereo 8 ohm, mono 4 ohm, or mono 16 ohm connections. The power handling capacity is 160 watts RMS per side in stereo, and a full 320 watts rms in mono!
The sealed back enclosure has four front mounted Celestion VOX neodymium magnet "Neo Dog" 12" speakers. The Celestion VOX "Neo Dog" 12 inch speaker features a neodymium magnet structure. The incredible magnetic properties of neodymium magnets mean that only a small amount of material is needed to produce the same flux as a much larger ceramic magnet structure. This offers a dramatic savings in weight with the same or better performance. The "Neo Dog" speaker weighs about half the weight of an average guitar speaker.
