Ampeg has made numerous legendary amps over the decades, but this particular model has definitely developed a bit of a cult following--and with good reason. Gorgeous, classic checkerboard tolex, lightweight construction, and this one has had all the necessary work to keep it alive for many years to come!

It's had a full re-cap, been fully fortified with all new rubber chassis mounts, had the handle replaced, and even has a Mercury Magnetics output transformer. Not to mention, it's loaded with an Eminence Swamp Thing 12" speaker for maximum headroom availability. This thing SINGS. Surfy, bold, and bright, shimmering tube warmth.

To our delight, it still has the original "dimensional" reverb pan and the original tremolo circuit with that incredible square-wave tremolo when you dime the depth knob until it clicks into place. With two inputs for "guitar" and "accordion" and treble/bass controls, you're able to achieve a variety of tonal options. Crank the volume and enjoy the sweet tweed-esque breakup that you can only get from a vintage tube amp.

For an amp of its age, it has signs of love and use that you would expect. Overall, it's in very good condition and has clearly been loved and prepared to last a long time if given the proper care from its new owner. Invest in a piece of Ampeg history and be the envy of all your friends with this Reverberocket 2. I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed.
