All you bedroom doomers are gonna drool over this one. The Hapax Legomenon is Blacktape's welterweight take on the legendary Sunn Model T. Rather than the massive quad of KT88's in the cult classic, this bad boy is a much less eardrum-shattering 60watts powered by a pair of 6550's, so you can push that preamp hard into sludgy breakup without pissing off the neighbors.
But wait, there's more! John also designed this killer amp to be able to accept multiple different styles of power tubes, from EL34's to 6L6's or your choice of KT-tubes, so you can customize this weapon of mass destruction to your specific fighting style.
Flip it around and check out that back panel, and you'll find your usual speaker outputs, a couple of 4ohm, 8ohm, and 16ohm. And uhhhh, what's "Operation CHAOS"? Definitely don't Google that... But seriously, it's a line out. So you can have the option to send your amp's direct signal straight to a DI! Show me a doom amp that can do that!
And to complete the package, the head comes with the matching oversized 2x12 cab, loaded up with a pair of Weber Black Shuck 12" speakers, known for their ability to handle low end and high output levels, and being particularly friendly to fuzz pedals.
