It's no secret that we love some Cyclones! This '98 MIM is a stunner. Black finish with a tortoise pickguard: he's a classy gentleman.
Constructed from an alder body with maple neck (C profile) and 9.5" radius rosewood fretboard. Nut width comes in at 1 5/8", neck thickness 1st: .840 - 12th: .870.
It's loaded up with the stock CTS pots, stock neck single coil (4.31k), and at the bridge an Epiphone Hot humbucker (13.2k). All the electronics are clean with no scratchy pots...nothin' but tone.
This guitar shows a fair amount of of love and playwear. There is some surface level scratches and swirling on the front and a small chip near upper rest as well as a quarter-sized chip in the finish down to the wood on the bottom edge; and the back has a bit of swirling and buckle rash. But this is all cosmetic and doesn't detract from how stunning this guitar is. And it weighs in at 8 lbs on the dot. Damn, I love this guitar.
The pro luthiers here at EMS have given this guitar a fret level and full setup so you can start rippin' on this thing right away and not have to put another penny into it once you get it. It plays as good as...nay, better than the day it rolled off the line! It is fully ready for stage or studio. It does not include a case but will be packed securely and shipped safely the next day.
