If you want something done right, sometimes you gotta do it yourself! Hence the existence of partscasters! And this one is rad!
This JM-style guitar has it going on in all the right places. Crafted from a Warmoth Alder body, it's been finished in a thin nitro black over white by the pros at RS Guitarworks. The neck was also produced by RS Guitarworks; it's a '63 style "C" Maple neck with a 9.5" radius Rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a chunkier feel measuring at 835" (1st fret) to .960" (12th). The nut measures at 1.65".
Whew! Ok, that got nerdy for a second. How about some fun stuff? Pickups! This guitar is loaded up with Lollar JM style pickups and they sound heavenly (N: 8.11k, B: 8.51k)! A three-way toggle, one volume, one tone. Boom. Done. Keep It Simple!
This isn't your run of the mill Jazzcaster parts guitar. Everything on here is absolutely rad, including the Mastery bridge and trem which gives this guitar unparalleled intonation and tuning stability compared to the traditional JM hardware.
On top of all this, the pro techs here at EMS have given this guitar a full setup so that it plays like a dream the moment it lands in your hands. It's ready for stage or studio and will not disappoint. A Fender branded JM of this caliber would cost mucho dollars but this parts beauty easily hangs with anything comin' outta their factories.
This beauty is used but lightly so. There are light signs of love and use overall (see pics); there's some pick swirl on the pickguard and some surface swirl on the back. But none of this detracts from how sweet this guitar looks and sounds. It ships the next day with the included gig bag.
