In 1946 Clarence Leonidas “Leo” Fender created Fender Electric Instrument Company and changed the trajectory of modern music forever. 75 years later (or 79 now) we celebrate this icon with this gorgeous guitar in Fender's flagship body style that has remained relatively unchanged for nearly a century.
A lot of people turn their noses up at Mexican-made Fenders, but in our humble opinion, many of them have comparable quality to their American models, and this one is a perfect example of that. This guitar just feels great.
The classic alder body is complemented with a modern C-profile maple neck with a width measuring 0.840" at the 1st fret and 0.880" at the 12th, a 9.5" radius, and a nut width of 1.665".
It comes loaded with the stock Vintage Style 60's Single Coil pickups (5.41k N, 5.75k M, 5.90k B) for that classic strat spank you know and love. And it weighs in at a super manageable 7.66lbs.
This ain't just your regular MIM strat though. The icing on the cake is the full fret level and setup that our top-notch luthiers have given this bad boy. We can guarantee this one will play circles around any other MIM strat fresh from the factory you get your hands on.
We'll ship this guitar packed snug as a bug in a rug in its included Fender gig bag! Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have about it!
