Incredible playing and looking silverface Champ from 1975! If you've never been a part of the Champ club, let this be your initiation. This 5 watt legend is the perfect practice or studio companion. It's hard to get a bad sound outta one. Crank it up for classic breakup, or clean it up with your guitar's volume. No frills controls: Volume, Treble, Bass.
The original two-prong cable has been replaced with a safer 3-prong daddy. It's also been given a new fuse holder and a single cap had to be replaced. This amp has a great compliment of tubes (EHX preamp tube, Mesa 6V6, original 5Y3 rectifier) with plenty of life left on them. And the original speaker has been replaced with a toneful Weber Vintage Series, one of the best replacement speakers on the market today.
The badass techs here at EMS have gone through this amp and all agree: this thing is pristine lil' vintage gem that is no where near ready to retire. It shows typical aging and playwear in the tolex and faceplate (see pics) but that is all cosmetic. This great little amp will be packed carefully and shipped speedily the next day.
