This badass Fender Jaguar is of somewhat mysterious origin. The date on the neck heel has been mostly removed, the body has been refinished, and overall, we're left with a cool player grade vintage guitar with a whole lot of vibe.
Here's one special little detail; though we cannot confirm it, we suspect that this neck could be an original 1965 based on the neck carve profile and binding/dots combo. Take that for what it's worth, as this guitar is just one that you have to feel to truly understand the appeal.
Being as old as we think it is, it makes sense that the frets are pretty low on this guitar, meaning it will eventually need a refret in order to keep rocking for another 60 years. The current frets are low, but the guitar has been set up by our best-in-the-biz techs to ensure easy playability and perfect intonation.
It's been outfitted with a Mastery bridge, which makes the setup and stability on this instrument rock solid, and allows the floating tremolo to function smoothly for all your pitch bending needs.
This Jag has all the same controls and features you'd find on a vintage one, including two single coil Jaguar pickups(-), one volume and one tone control, 3 slider switches for pickup selection(bridge on/off, neck on/off, & strangle switch for cutting bass frequencies), and a rhythm circuit switch with it's own separate volume and tone rollers.
