You are correct, that is a Jazz Bass neck on this P Bass! Someone at some point in this Precision Bass's life decided that they liked the 0.795"-0.920" thickness and feel of the maple Modern C-profile neck with 9.5" radius rosewood fretboard on their 2020 American Pro Jazz bass better, and hybridized it with this older Korean-made P Bass alder body.
Like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commercial from the 70's: "You got your Jazz Bass in my P Bass!" "You got your P Bass in my Jazz Bass!"
But that's not the only secret this bass holds! The stock pickup in this guy has been swapped out for a Lollar P Bass Split Coil pickup, rated at 10.62k.
This bass has obviously seen its fair share of play, and it looks the part. There's a few chips and dings here and there on the body, but it is in great playing condition. This is a player's bass through and through. The previous owner loved this bass enough to trick it out and modify it to suit their needs.
