Made in the spirit of the very bass played by Gordon Sumner himself, this sweet '51 reissue is crafted from alder with a C profile maple neck (.850"-1.00"). The comfortable, fast neck features dot inlays and a unique "Sting" signature inlay at the 12th fret. The nut measures at 1 5/8".
Just the originals, this bass is loaded up with a lone single coil pickup (7.25k) that has a cutting, punching tone. The straightforward controls, Volume/Tone, round out the control plate.
Overall this bass weighs in at 9.1 lbs. The neck feels great and the tone is as classic as it comes. No frills.
