We don't need to explain. We don't need tell you. The King. The Ultimate. The Standard. The mighty narrow panel Tweed Deluxe 5E3. This one has been played and loved. This ain't no museum piece, jack! It's ready for action.

Sustain, perfect breakup that cleans up when you roll the guitar volume off: there's a reason this is the one tone hounds spend years coveting and searching out. Serial number on this baby is D-02392 placing it in the year of lord 19 and 56! Hell yeah!

This amp has seen a studio and stage or two. It retains the original transformers (output transformer # 50246).

The three pots (Tone, Inst. Volume, Mic Volume) have all been replaced at some point in this amp's life, as well as it has been given a new power switch. Peep the gut shots we've provided and you'll see that the filter caps and a few resistors have been replaced.

On the tube side o' things, the rectifier tube and power tubes are old but still good and gettin' it done. V1 preamp tube is a JJ 12AX7 which yields a bit more gain vs the stock 12AY7.

The speaker in this amp is a Jensen P12R Reissue, a perfect pairing for this classic circuit.

This is a classic player's amp that sounds like a million freakin' bucks. Hot dang! Must be cranked to be truly appreciated.

The pro techs here at EMS have gone through this amp to ensure everything is clean, tight, and sounding right. This is truly a gem of an amp that sounds incredible and works great!
