This is a truly unique blue baby! The SG is the undisputed rock machine! That pretty pelham blue finish adds a sassy classic look to a brooding tone monster. This guitar has a unique story in that it was produced here in 'merica, but for the Japanese market. But she's found her way back stateside! And she's back to kick some ass and drink some sake. And it looks like we're all outta sake...
Crafted from toneful mahogany, this SG sports a classic C profile neck (.807"-.883") with a 10" radius rosewood fingerboard (nut width: 1.697"). It's loaded up with a gnarly pair of humbuckers (N: 7.79k, B: 808k) that crank out rock, blues, jazz, metal, classic rock, etc etc etc like it ain't nothin'! Amazing PAF tone in these 'buckers. The controls consist of the traditional V-V-T-T with a three way toggle. Simple. To the point. Just shut up and rock.
Overall it shows signs of love and use, which we pictured, but honestly: none of this detracts from the killer look of this guitar. And it plays like a dream thanks to the spot on setup and fret level that the luthiers here at EMS have given it.
