Jordan Chestnut from J Chester Amplification makes great, custom built amps and guitars. This red rascal was a collaboration between Jordan and guitarist Rico Thomas to create a unique Jagmaster-inspired offset design.
Crafted from toneful alder with a custom-shaped maple neck (.855"-.898"), it sports a 9.5" radius with a 1.96" nut. Jordan has loaded it up with super jumbo stainless steel frets and given it a nitro finish that's reliced in all the right ways.
For the electronics, he's loaded it up with a trio of Lollar Black Face single coils for loads of 60's mojo with full body, lots of punch and a well-defined, piano-like attack. The unique controls consist of a master Volume and master Tone with a 4-way selector switch. There's a Volume control that controls only the middle pickup. IN other words, lots of tones and options available.
Top it all off with the Mastery bridge and trem which takes the tuning and intonation stability of this design to the next level. This guitar weighs in at 8.14 lbs.
The techs here at EMS have given this guy a setup so that it's ready for stage or studio. It includes a hardshell case and will ship out the next day.
