The C-1 is a neck-thru, double cutaway shred machine with a quilted maple top on its mahogany body. It has a beautiful maple/walnut multi-ply neck with abalone "Vine of Life" inlays. This gorgeous beast is 100% stock. Other features include Grover tuners, a bone nut, and Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz pickups. It shows some minor signs of love: there are a couple of small chips on the back edge of the body and a small chip on the lower part of the front. There a light scratches on the back of the body as well (see pics); all of this is cosmetic and it plays like a dream. It weighs in at a very modest 8.6lbs.
The badass luthiers here at EMS have given this guitar a fresh fret dress and setup so it plays better than the day it rolled off the line! It's ready for stage or studio the moment you receive it. It does not include a case but will be packed securely and shipped safely the next day.
