Here's a hell of a throwback! Some of the old-timers will probably recognize this one from out of a late-50's Sears catalog.
This thing has seen plenty of use in its nearly three quarters of a century of playing. We believe it was possibly refinished in its current red paint job (with those cute little cherubs perched up above the fretboard), as these were usually made with a brown sparkle finish. Aside from the refin, everything on this guy is original. From the specs (C-shape maple neck, 20" radius, 0.823"-0.892" thickness, middle lipstick pickup rated at 3.60k), all the way down to the vintage Bakelite knobs.
This guitar does have some worn frets, but it still plays exceptionally well for a guitar of its age, especially considering these were meant to be beginner guitars, and never expected to still be played seventy plus years later. But nevertheless, here it is! And we've made sure it is ready to rock for you, while still retaining the instrument's original integrity.
