Ain't nothin wrong with a Squier. This tall glass of water really does have that "classic vibe".
The grain though that sunburst looks particularly sweet on this jazzy boy. The body is constructed of poplar, and weighs in at a very manageable 7.42lbs. It's complemented by a maple C-profile neck with a thickness of 0.84" at the 1st fret and 0.885" at the 12th, a 9.5" radius laurel fretboard, and a nut width of 1.65".
It comes loaded up with the stock Fender Alnico jazzmaster pickups with an output rating of 6.57k in the neck and 11.67k in the bridge.
