The EG5013S is a big, projection solid spruce tone box from the Orchestra Model series that begs to be played. The back and sides are a beautiful flame maple. Add to that big sound a playable, comfy slim C profile neck (.843"-.935") and you've got a guitar you won't put down. It's outfitted with a 14" rosewood board that adds further warmth (1.673" nut).
The electronics under the hood is where this machine gets really interesting. The under-bridge piezo pickup and onboard TK-40 preamp opens up a palette of tones that you don't usually see on acoustics in this range. Onboard tuner, 3-band EQ, mid contour, Gain control, and Notch filter: all of these let you dial the sound of this guitar in no matter the amp or sound system you put it through.
The gorgeous thang has been finished in a jawdropping tobacco burst finish. It has been lightly used. There is very light surface-level pick wear below the sound hole and light surface scratches on the back that are visible in the right light. None of this detracts from the overall amazing appearance of this guitar. And it plays superb thanks to the badass luthiers here at EMS that have given it a fresh fret dress and setup to insure that it arrives to you ready to play with level frets and zero issues.
It will ship the next day with the included gig bag.
