And not the least of which, this beautiful Top Boost AC30 was produced and began to unleash its chime and growl on the world. And it hasn't stopped yet! It has the Top Boost/Brilliance channel which adds an additional gain stage and tone controls for bass and treble for which AC30's are known.
The speakers are an old set of Alnico Blues *chef's kiss* This era of AC30's would've typically had the Silvers...hmmm....but nevertheless, these old Blues are groovy!
The Brilliant Channel's Treble and Bass controls work backwards as do the Vib/Trem speed. Vox did this sometimes. Go figure. But backwards or forwards, this things rips!
Physically, this ol' gall shows her age. But mama always said, it's what's on the inside that counts. And inside this amp is head-to-toe legit. It's been recapped along the way as you might expect. It's also been given a 3-prong power cord because, safely first. It bears serial number 16321.
The pro techs here at EMS have gone through this amp to insure that everything is clean, tight, and sounding right.
